Still Life with Acrylics

It's been awhile since I touched acrylics. A couple of my classmates gather to organise extra painting classes every two weeks.

Takeshita Street

Literally a stone's throw away from Harajuku station is Takeshita Street. This is a pedestrian-only road filled with restaurants, cafes, fashion boutiques, convenient stores, etc. Some of the shops here are prototype shops known as "antenna shops" which is used to test the market of whatever is sold.

Text-messaging

Speaking on the mobile on a train is considered rude in Japan. I find it interesting how everyone sends text messages instead.

Train rides are awesome! I can spend a lot of time doodling the people I see on board. Here's one right before the train arrives.

Hortpark Exhibit

The images I was commissioned to shoot by Hortpark three months back found its use in the exhibition room there. Here are some of the panels on display.

Office Space Wall Feature

I was tasked by PSG Asia to photograph about 70 over staff from Google, and then apply the images onto 4 acrylic panes. The toughest part was to get my models to be comfortable and natural with their pose... or was that the fun part?
